Asphalt Cowboys need to keep traditions alive

What's happening to my country? Has everyone in this perilous time decided to give up freedom? It seems that a new law is passed every day.

This is my letter of support for the Asphalt Cowboys. Boys, bring back your guns! Don't allow these sissy people to ruin a tradition that's been well-loved for many years. People really need to re-evaluate this situation.

More than ever, we need to support this county. I fear our freedom is in the hands of these so-called peace-loving people who are afraid of their own shadows. These people pretend to care and support peace; yet they sign away freedom and independence every chance they get. These luxuries can only survive by protection of the freedom and independence that so many died and fought hard to give us as Americans. Does anybody remember a time of sweet innocence when a child could run around the back yard, firing a cap gun without alerting anyone? I do, because I was one of them.

I truly feel sorry for the Asphalt Cowboys. Fifty years of tradition may be coming to an end because they frighten a few people. This is America. We light our own fireworks, we own guns and we proudly wave our flag. My word to these white-knuckled, peacemongers: All of you who have been spayed, neutered and declawed, turn your hats around forward, pull up your pants and wrest your fingers from that fake symbol of peace you wave. Write a letter of apology to these great guys who have done so much for our community. Ready, aim, fire!
